When you use the Lead Generation service, you must:

a) obtain the valid consent of your visitors to set cookies in their devices and read them;
b) inform the visitors about the cookies that your website is using;
c) obtain the valid consent of your visitors to us (Albacross) improving the Web Tracking service using information from the cookies set in their devices; and
d) provide the necessary information about the consent to our processing of personal data.

How to do it:

To set cookies in visitor’s devices or to process personal data, their consent is required. This can be obtained by using e.g. “I accept”-buttons placed in a cookie banner.

A visitor’s consent to the use of cookies must be informed. Therefore, you must provide the visitors with a cookie policy in accordance with applicable laws.

One part of the cookie policy is to list all the cookies that are set your website, along with information about what they do and how long they are stored in the visitor’s device.

In order to help you with this, information about the cookies that are set when our pixel is called is provided below at the end of this document, for you to insert in your cookie policy.

Informing your visitor:

The consent to our processing of personal data is not valid unless it meets the requirements set out in applicable data protection legislation.

One such requirement is that the consent must be informed. Therefore, we need you to display the following text in close connection (e.g in your cookie policy) to the mechanism where the visitor expresses their consent (e.g. an opt-in box/accept button).

The purpose for the processing of the personal data is that it enables Albacross to improve a service rendered to us and our website (e.g “Lead Generation” service), by adding data to their database about companies.

The data that is collected and used by Albacross to achieve this purpose is information about the IP-address from which you visited our website, and technical information that enables Albacross to tell apart different visitors from the same IP-address. Albacross stores the domain from form input in order to correlate the IP-address with your employer.
