So we asked one of our users a few questions about Lead Forensics and how it compared to Albacross. Here’s how he responded:

How do the two tools compare?

For us the big difference was the cost. I pay £295 (EUR 330) a month for the Lead Forensics CRM connection, along with a yearly fee of £300 (EUR 340).

It can be hard to justify such a high price tag, especially when it can take weeks or even months for a lead to turn into a customer. With Albacross, we didn’t have that issue. Because the tool is completely free, we knew we would be getting a solid ROI.

We also got all the same features.

So overall, Albacross was better-priced. It’s the same tool for no cost.

How do you use Lead Forensics and Albacross?

We work with both tools in the same way. A few times a day our account managers look at the website traffic. They’ll filter all the new leads and incorporate them into our marketing and sales process.

For us, the really big plus was the seamless integration of Albacross’ ad platform. It made it a lot easier to move directly from identifying leads to advertising to them.

With Albacross we could simply click a button to add leads to an advertising campaign. It saved us a lot of time.

What’s the main thing you liked about Albacross?

The price. Whenever a new tool comes along, it’s normal to think, “I’d love to try this but I don’t really want to spend a lot of money on it.”

Because Albacross’ platform is free, we didn’t have that issue.

What did you think after using Albacross?

We always thought, “Why use another tool?” Lead Forensics is a good product. It’s a good company and has good support.

After using Albacross, however, we realised that other tools have different (sometimes better) things to offer. Your platform has more functionality and it’s free.

How does Albacross compare when it comes to identifying leads?

We found the Albacross IP database matches 20% more company names.

This gives us a bigger picture of customers and prospects visiting our website. We can also approach more site visitors for the first time.

When you’re running a company, there’s always that little voice at the back of your head saying “Are you really reaching as many people as possible?”

By using Albacross we knew that were casting the net as widely as possible, which is always comforting.
